Fix "This app is not compatible with your device"

If you see the message “This app is not compatible with your device” when trying to download TradeFox from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, it usually means your device’s software or hardware does not meet the minimum requirements for our high-quality training simulations.

Follow the steps below to identify and fix the issue.

Check System Requirements

TradeFox uses advanced 3D simulations that require specific hardware and software versions to run smoothly.

  • Android Users: Requires Android OS 5.0 (Lollipop) or later.
  • iOS Users: Requires iOS 13.0 or later (iPhone) or iPadOS 13.0 or later (iPad).
  • Mac Users: Requires macOS 11.0 or later and a Mac with the Apple M1 chip or later.

Update your device software

Sometimes a simple system update will make your device compatible.

  • For Android: Go to Settings > System > System Update and check for updates.
  • For iOS: Go to Settings > General > Software Update. If an update is available, install it and try searching for TradeFox in the App Store again.

Clear Google Play Store Cache (Android only)

If your device meets the requirements but you still see the error, the Google Play Store may be using outdated information about your phone.

  1. Open your device Settings.
  2. Tap Apps & notifications > See all apps.
  3. Scroll down and tap Google Play Store.
  4. Tap Storage > Clear Cache.
  5. Tap Clear Data.
  6. Restart your phone and try the download again.

Issues with Tablets or "Rooted" Devices

  • Tablets: While TradeFox is designed for most tablets, some budget models lack the graphic processing power needed for 3D simulations. If your tablet does not have a “Certified” Play Store status, it may be blocked.
  • Rooted/Jailbroken Devices: For security and certification integrity, TradeFox may not be available on devices that have been modified or rooted.
