How to download the Tradefox app

1. Download for Mobile (iOS & Android)

Our native mobile apps are the best way to practice simulations on the go. They are optimized for touch controls, making it easy to wire circuits or assemble components with your fingertips.

  • For iPhone & iPad: * Open the Apple App Store.
  • Search for “Tradefox – Build Skills”.
  • Tap Get to download and install.
  • Requires iOS 13.0 or later.
  • For Android Devices:
  • Open the Google Play Store.
  • Search for “Tradefox – Learn Electrics”.
  • Tap Install.
  • Requires Android 10.0 or later and at least 3GB of RAM.

2. Accessing Tradefox via WebGL (Browser)

Don’t want to download an app? You can run our full Unity-powered simulations directly in your web browser.

  • How to access: Visit the official Tradefox website and log in to your dashboard.
  • Capacity: Our simulations use WebGL, which renders 3D graphics using your computer’s hardware.
  • Best Browsers: We recommend Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for the most stable experience.
  • Pro Tip: Ensure Hardware Acceleration is turned on in your browser settings so the Unity engine can run smoothly.

3. Setting Up Your Membership

Once you’ve downloaded or opened the app, you can start your journey:

  1. Create an Account: Sign up with your email to track your progress across devices.
  2. Start Your Free Trial: New users get a 7-day free trial of our full Membership.
  3. Choose Your Plan: After your trial, stay on the Monthly Plan (£9.99) or switch to the Yearly Plan (£5.75/month) to save over 40%.

Common Troubleshooting

  • App not appearing in store? Ensure your device meets the minimum OS requirements (iOS 13+ or Android 10+).
  • Simulation lagging on WebGL? Close other browser tabs to free up RAM. Unity simulations perform best when they aren’t competing for memory.
  • Syncing issues? Make sure you are logged into the same account on both your mobile device and your web browser to keep your certification progress synced.
