How to remove payment methods from your account

You can update or remove payment methods from your Tradefox account at any time. To prevent any interruptions to your learning, Tradefox requires at least one active payment method on file to maintain a Premium subscription.

Removing a payment method

  1. Sign in to your account at tradefoxapp.com.
  2. Go to Account Settings and select Billing & Payments.
  3. Locate the payment method you wish to remove.
  4. Select Remove or the X icon next to the card details.

Note: If you only have one payment method on file and have an active subscription, you will not be able to remove it until you add a new one or cancel your membership.

Why can't I remove my card?

If you are having trouble removing a payment method, it is usually due to one of the following reasons:

  • Active Subscription: As long as you have an active Premium membership, we require a valid payment method to ensure your simulations and progress remain unlocked.
  • Past Due Balance: If a recent payment failed, you must resolve the balance or add a new card before the old one can be removed.
  • App Store/Google Play Billing: If you signed up for Tradefox via your mobile device’s app store, you must manage and remove your payment methods through your Apple ID or Google Account settings, rather than the Tradefox website.

How to add a backup payment method

Adding a backup ensures you never lose access to your training if your primary card expires or is declined.

  1. In the Billing & Payments section, select Add Payment Method.
  2. Enter the card details.
  3. Check the box to “Set as Backup.”

Deleting your account

If you wish to remove all your information—including payment methods and learning history—permanently, you can choose to Delete Account at the bottom of the Account Settings page. This action is irreversible and will immediately terminate your access to all Tradefox simulations.
