Tradefox says to "Sign Up" when trying to "Sign In"

If you are trying to access your existing Tradefox account but keep being redirected to the registration page or told to “Sign Up,” it usually means there is a mismatch between how you are trying to log in and how your account was originally created.

Check your login method

Tradefox offers several ways to access your simulations. You must use the same method every time.

  • Email & Password: If you originally signed up with an email and password, ensure you are clicking Sign In and not “Create Account.”
  • Social Sign-In (Google, Apple, or Facebook): If you originally used one of these services, you must click the corresponding icon to enter. If you try to enter your Gmail address into the standard email field instead of clicking the “Sign in with Google” button, the system may treat you as a new user.

You might be using a different email

It’s easy to mix up work, school, and personal email addresses. If you enter an email that isn’t in our system, Tradefox will naturally assume you are a new student and prompt you to sign up.

  • Search your various email inboxes for your Tradefox Welcome Email or Subscription Confirmation to verify which address is linked to your progress.

If the app keeps redirecting you to a sign-up screen even after you’ve entered your details:

  1. Force Close the App: Swipe the app away and restart it.
  2. Clear Cache (Android): Go to Settings > Apps > Tradefox > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Check for Updates: Ensure you are on the latest version of the app from the App Store or Google Play. Older versions may have “login loops” that have since been patched.

School or Business accounts

If you were invited to Tradefox by your instructor or employer:

  • You must follow the link in your invitation email to set up your account first.
  • If you try to sign up manually on the website before clicking that link, the system won’t recognize you as part of your school’s Premium plan and may ask you to sign up for a personal account instead.

Still being asked to sign up?

If you are certain your email is correct but the app won’t let you in, your account might not be fully verified.

  • Verify your email: Check for a verification link sent when you first joined.
  • Contact Support: Reach out to info@tradefoxapp.com with the email address you are trying to use. We can check if there’s a typo in your username (like .con instead of .com) that is preventing a match.
