C'\u00e9tait une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 les syst\u00e8mes t\u00e9l\u00e9graphiques \u00e9taient encore une nouveaut\u00e9 et o\u00f9 la th\u00e9orie de l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 tentait de trouver ses marques.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Avant Kirchhoff, les ing\u00e9nieurs comprenaient la loi d'Ohm, le lien entre la tension, le courant et la r\u00e9sistance, mais les circuits complexes avec de multiples boucles ou sources \u00e9taient d\u00e9licats.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La contribution de Kirchhoff a \u00e9t\u00e9 de prendre le principe de la conservation de l'\u00e9nergie et de l'appliquer directement aux circuits.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il nous a donn\u00e9 deux r\u00e8gles : une pour les courants (la loi de Kirchhoff sur les courants) et une pour les tensions (la loi de Kirchhoff sur les tensions). Parce que l'\u00e9nergie \u00e9lectrique se conserve. L'alimentation donne de l'\u00e9nergie aux charges ; les composants tels que les r\u00e9sistances, les moteurs et les lampes la r\u00e9cup\u00e8rent sous forme de chaleur, de lumi\u00e8re ou de travail. Lorsque vous revenez au point de d\u00e9part, il n'y a plus de tension \u201cr\u00e9siduelle\u201d.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Math\u00e9matiquement, cela se pr\u00e9sente comme suit :<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u03a3V = 0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les tensions aux bornes de chaque composant sont affect\u00e9es d'un signe selon que l'on passe du n\u00e9gatif au positif (mont\u00e9e) ou du positif au n\u00e9gatif (descente) au cours de la boucle.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Une analogie de tous les jours ? Pensez \u00e0 un sentier de randonn\u00e9e circulaire avec des mont\u00e9es et des descentes. Si vous ajoutez les gains et les pertes d'altitude, vous obtiendrez un changement net nul une fois que vous serez revenu \u00e0 votre point de d\u00e9part.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans le domaine de l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 au Royaume-Uni, ce principe s'applique \u00e0 toutes les situations, qu'il s'agisse d'une simple charge r\u00e9sistive ou d'un panneau de contr\u00f4le complexe pour les services du b\u00e2timent. Le courant quitte la pile, passe par la lampe et l'interrupteur, puis revient.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans les installations plus complexes, vous pouvez avoir plusieurs boucles. Les circuits \u00e0 boucles multiples ou maill\u00e9s sont courants dans les appareils de commande industriels et dans certains syst\u00e8mes de commande d'\u00e9clairage. Vous ne pouvez pas m\u00e9langer les chemins \u00e0 mi-chemin du calcul.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La loi ne s'applique que lorsque vous effectuez un retour complet \u00e0 votre point de d\u00e9part sans bifurquer.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Une bonne lecture des sch\u00e9mas repr\u00e9sente la moiti\u00e9 de la bataille. Sur les plans de chantier britanniques, les boucles sont parfois moins \u00e9videntes que dans l'exemple de la salle de classe, surtout si le sch\u00e9ma est une modification d'anciens plans.
