Elle est l\u00e0, tranquille, et fait son travail en gardant l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 l\u00e0 o\u00f9 elle devrait \u00eatre. Mais voil\u00e0, l'isolation ne tombe pas toujours en panne avec fracas. Parfois, elle commence \u00e0 s'ab\u00eemer en chuchotant.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ces murmures ont un nom : la d\u00e9charge partielle (DP). C'est l'\u00e9quivalent \u00e9lectrique de minuscules fractures de stress dans l'acier, pas assez pour le briser aujourd'hui, mais si elles ne sont pas contr\u00f4l\u00e9es, vous \u00eates sur la voie des probl\u00e8mes.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Au Royaume-Uni, o\u00f9 une grande partie de l'infrastructure \u00e9lectrique date de plusieurs dizaines d'ann\u00e9es, les DP ne sont pas rares. C'est l'un des principaux responsables des pannes inattendues, des r\u00e9parations co\u00fbteuses et, dans certains cas, des incidents dangereux.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce probl\u00e8me ne concerne pas uniquement les compagnies d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Les entreprises de construction, les gestionnaires d'installations, les \u00e9lectriciens industriels et toute personne charg\u00e9e de veiller \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 des syst\u00e8mes HT ou MT doivent savoir ce qu'est la DP, comment elle se d\u00e9veloppe et pourquoi il est important de la d\u00e9tecter rapidement. Voyons ce qu'il en est.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b2e1ddc elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b2e1ddc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Comprendre la d\u00e9charge partielle\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9a10bf7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9a10bf7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En termes formels, une d\u00e9charge partielle est une rupture \u00e9lectrique localis\u00e9e dans un syst\u00e8me d'isolation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Au lieu que l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 saute tout l'espace entre les conducteurs (ce qui serait une panne totale), la DP se produit dans une petite partie de l'isolation \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur d'un vide, le long d'une surface, ou m\u00eame dans l'air environnant.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pourquoi seulement \u201cpartiel\u201d ? Parce que la d\u00e9charge ne traverse pas compl\u00e8tement l'isolation principale. Dans sa forme parfaite, le mat\u00e9riau di\u00e9lectrique (XLPE dans les c\u00e2bles, huile dans les transformateurs, \u00e9poxy dans les appareillages de commutation) ne pr\u00e9sente aucun point faible.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ? La perfection existe rarement. \u00c0 l'int\u00e9rieur d'un isolant, il peut y avoir une bulle d'air microscopique. La rigidit\u00e9 di\u00e9lectrique de l'air est beaucoup plus faible que celle du solide qui l'entoure.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lorsque le champ \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 travers ce minuscule vide d\u00e9passe la tension de claquage de l'air, une d\u00e9charge \u00e9lectrique se produit \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur du vide.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La m\u00eame chose peut se produire \u00e0 la surface de l'isolation, par exemple le long d'une douille l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sale, o\u00f9 l'humidit\u00e9 et les contaminants forment un film conducteur.
