Fixing centres are typically in the region of 200mm to 300mm, but this is system-specific and changes with board type, single or multi-layer construction, and whether you are working walls or ceilings. Where two tapered edges meet, you get a natural channel for the jointing system. This is the strongest and easiest joint to finish.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Butt joints and cut edges are the trouble spots.
